urbs regalis, et, ut Hier. vult, metropolis decem tribuum, terminus est Manasse, in qua est, et Issaschar, sita in pede montis Gelboe ad Occas. insigni speculâ et turre sepctabilis, unde indicium sit accenso igne, tamquam ex Pharo, de adventu hostium, ipsaque urbs pulchrum habet prospectum per totam Galilaeam usque ad Carmelum et montes Phoenicis, montesque Tabor et Galaad, et ultra Iordanem.
